The company which now makes Therapedic mattresses was founded in 1957 by Gerald Gershaw who was a fighter pilot in World War II. Following the war Gerald entered the mattress business as he believed that the products currently available could be much improved. In fact as a small independent manufacturer he felt that he would be able to produce a product that was far superior to that which was being produced by the larger companies at the time.
The range of mattresses that this company produces has proved extremely successful and they are now sold around the world. Plus today Therapedic Mattresses are made in fifty factories that the company has established in more than 30 countries around the world.

Several weeks ago I went to BB&B in NYC to purchase one of the Therapedic mattresses that they had on display. The initial problem I had when I got mine was the smell coming from it, but I believe this is something that all memory foam mattresses have and after a while it does disappear. However, what I found helped was spraying on some Febreeze as this helps to dissipate the odor a lot more quickly.
I am someone who needed something quite firm to sleep on and this mattress has proven extremely good. No matter how much I move around each night I am finding that it provides me with all the support that I need which is wonderful as I have a real problem with my lower back. Okay these Therapedic mattresses aren’t cheap to buy, but then when you are provided with the level of support and comfort as these ones do, then I feel it is money well spent. I would be more than happy to recommend these mattresses to others including family and friends.

I am not exactly the lightest person and as a result was finding the mattress on my bed extremely uncomfortable to lie on. Of course, I wasn’t prepared to spend money replacing the mattress as a whole because I had only purchased it several months before. So instead I decided to spend money on purchasing one of the toppers made by Therapedic mattresses.
Since investing money in this item which cost me around $250 it has proven to be a very wise investment indeed. Before purchasing it I was finding that I was unable to sleep on my side at night, however now I have no problems whatsoever. Plus I am finding that since purchasing it I am not waking every morning full of aches and pains. In fact I am so happy with these one of the products from Therapedic Mattresses that I am now going out to purchase more for the other beds in my home.
