Same problem as everyone else has had. mattress sags so bad on my side i am 6’1″ 195 and i wake up with back pain every morning, i work for the fire dept and sleep on a spring air bunk bed mattress at work and even getting up many times though out the night to run calls, feel like i sleep better there and definitely don’t wake up with a hurting back. I am in the process of filling out warranty/inspection paperwork, will see what happens, but regardless need a new bed.

I know it is primarily unhappy customers who leave reviews of any sort on consumer products. So generally expect negatives reviews to dominate, but their seems to be A LOT here. I have a shifman mattress that I am very pleased with. Shifman makes the Aireloom. I need a second mattress for a pied-a-terre, and had settled on the cushion firm Aireloom at Macys, but, geesh, now really going to have to consider a nice Stearns & Foster. And check out this black beautyrest mentioned here. Thanks.

I am very close to purchasing an Aireloom Hotel Collection Vitagenic (cushion firm) from Macy’s. However, after reading these comments I hesitate. Has anyone had problems with this mattress? It is a LOT of money for me to spend on a mattress.

I just read the one above me and I feel the same way. Went to Macy’s last night and was ready to plunk down 3,000 for the Ultra Plush Streamline..it was a little more comfy than the Simmons black beautyrest. Not now after these reviews..bad back for me as well. BedMart has the beautyrest in king for around 1200, versus on sale for 3,000 at Macys! Think I’ll be going there and settle for that.

Do NOT buy this bed…Chevonne Medium Eurotop. We purchased this bed and within 2 weeks we were already sleeping in a hole caused by body impressions; a distinct, deep ‘W’. We expressed our concerns and were told that we needed to rotate the mattress every 2 weeks (mind you it weighs a ton) & then lay in the middle for awhile when we first got into the bed. We were told it was simply air locked in the top that needed to be dispersed evenly. Well, we bought that for awhile and turned the mattress as indicated, but after 2 months, the situation did not improve. To the store’s credit, they replaced the mattress with another one; however, within 5 days, this one had begun to do the same thing! It’s going to go back as well and we are not going to replace it with another Airloom bed. I’m sorry, but it’s absolutely ridiculous that one spends $5000 on a bed you have to baby in this way and then you’re looking to replace in a few years. No thank you.

at first the mattress is very comfty..1 yr began to in dent and became worst trouffs hard to move out of and we are not big people…starts to sleep hot …the inspections are a joke we had two! the warranty means nothing if they come and measure and the dents have to meet their criteria which is riuiclous..not worth the money!!! their customer service sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve owned an ariloom for about 6 years. absolutely love it. Well worth every penny. It doesn’t sag the least bit.

wow!! I just bought a hotel collection “vitagenic mattress” from macys, a cushion firm. I was going the get the beauty rest black but this aireloom felt so much better. After reading all these reviews i am thinking about canceling the order as it will not be delivered for 11 more days. I have back issues and it sounds like this mattress will only make my pain compound. I did not know this company’s quality is poor and way over priced.

We bought our Aireloom mattress and box set about 2 and a half years ago. It started sagging on my husband’s side about 6 months in. He’s not a large person as others in this review site have stated. Unless we were given the wrong box set, that shouldn’t be the problem. It was a very expensive mattress and I would expect much better quality at this price range. We have other mattresses that don’t compare in price, are much older and haven’t sagged at all. I’m not certain that the sagging is 1.5 inches deep but it’s like sleeping in a valley and your body wants to naturally adjust around it. It seems as though this an ongoing issue so buyer beware. I would not recommend this brand mattress at this point.

Has anyone tried what Hambone suggested? I don’t know want to buy this mattress if the sagging problem can’t be fixed.
